Privacy Policy for Baby+

This Privacy Policy describes how Baby+ (“App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use the App. By using Baby+, you agree to this Policy together with our Terms and Conditions (if linked from the same site).

2. Information the App processes
Depending on how you use Baby+, the App may process:
- Baby and household details you enter (for example name, birth date, gender, birth measurements, caregiver names and optional contact fields).
- Activity and health-related logs you create in the App (for example feeding, sleep, diapers, growth, temperature, medications, milestones, teeth tracking, and similar entries).
- Preferences and settings stored on your device (for example onboarding completion, reminder options, and UI state).
- Subscription status related to in-app purchases, as described in Sections 5 and 6.
3. Where your data is stored
Primary storage is on your device. Baby+ stores the information above locally (for example using the platform’s secure on-device storage mechanisms). We do not operate a mandatory cloud account in the App for your baby logs as part of the core design described here.
If you uninstall the App or clear app data, local data may be deleted unless you restore it from a device or platform backup.
4. How we use information
We use the information processed by the App to:
- Provide App features (tracking, charts, reminders, and related tools).
- Maintain reliability and improve the App (including through aggregated or technical analytics as described below).
- Comply with law where required.
5. Baby+ Pro subscriptions (offers, auto-renewal, and data)
Some features require a Baby+ Pro subscription through the Apple App Store. The following auto-renewable subscription offers may be available (prices in USD; the price shown in the App Store at checkout applies in your region):

- Auto-renewal: All Baby+ Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the App Store subscription management). Cancellation stops renewal at the end of the current paid period; you keep access until that period ends unless otherwise stated by Apple.
- Who processes purchase data: Apple handles payment, subscription records, and renewals through the App Store. The App may store subscription entitlement status on your device after purchase so features can unlock. We do not receive or store your full payment card details from Apple.

6. Third-party services
The App may rely on services provided by third parties. Their own privacy policies also apply.
- Google Firebase — We may use Firebase services such as Firebase Analytics (to understand how the App is used in aggregate) and Firebase Remote Config (to adjust App behavior and configuration remotely). These services may collect technical identifiers and usage data according to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Apple — When you subscribe or make purchases through the App Store, Apple processes payment and subscription data under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
7. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the App may schedule local notifications on your device. Notification content is derived from information you have stored in the App. We do not need to read your notification content on our servers for basic local reminders.

Baby+ is intended for use by parents and adult caregivers. The App is not directed at children to collect their personal information directly from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us via https://baby-plus.app.
9. Legal bases & retention (summary)
Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis, we rely on performance of the service you request, legitimate interests (for example security, fraud prevention, and improving the App in aggregate), and compliance with legal obligations.
We retain information processed by third-party services (such as analytics providers or Apple for App Store purchases) according to those providers’ policies and our configuration. Local App data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the App, or it is removed by platform backup/restore behavior.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Many requests relating to data stored only on your device can be fulfilled by you by editing or deleting entries in the App or removing the App.

11. International users
Third-party providers may process data in countries other than your own. When you use those features, your information may be transferred in accordance with the provider’s terms and applicable law.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy where permitted by law.
